To revive a defunct or dying brand and bring it back to life. Create a new identity, audience and expanded new possibilities for the brand while still focusing on its original essence.
I chose to rebrand Delorean (defunct innovative car manufacturer). I carried forward Delorean's core concept of chasing the dream and expanded the possibilities to encourage innovative people to be more confident in their unique ideas and help them choose what they want to achieve. The new Delorean will evolve from a car manufacturer to Delorean Center for Innovation (DCI) that focuses on creating an innovative community and providing necessary resources and facilities for innovative people. The arrow is the new mark of the DCI to emphasize the brand's core of moving forward.
